Scholarship
SCHOLAR NI SAN MIGUEL
Any incoming first-year student who exemplifies excellence in his or her academic performance is eligible to receive the scholarship. This scholarship was generously provided by the school’s alumni association.
The school may discontinue this award with the consent of the officers of the alumni association due to misbehavioral concerns stipulated in the student manual (GABAY).

Qualification:
- Incoming 1st year students with outstanding academic performance
- Submit an application letter address to ALUMNI ASSOCIATION.
- Submit one (1) recommendation from previous school
- Fill-up SSM Form.
Termination of Scholarship
- Scholarship withdrawal.
- Failing grades (5.00)
TULONG DUNONG PROGRAM
The sponsor of this Commision on Higher Education (CHED) – Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) for Filipino students that is the commission of higher education is covering both private and public sectors of higher education. It deals with all the degree-granting programs as well.
As stated in CHED’s Long Term Development Plan, arrangements for “Access and Equity” are given to eligible students through the creation and continuation of scholarship, grant-in-aid, and loan programs.
It has offered services and financial support to vulnerable and disadvantaged Filipino students who are eager to continue their education but lack the financial resources to do so.
CHED – Tulong Dunong The scholarship is intended for Filipino students who do not have sufficient financial means to continue their undergraduate studies in college. This scholarship would review applicants and offer the necessary financial aid to disadvantaged students on an individual basis.
Filipino students with a passing grade in their last two semesters of college and who are enrolled in designated priority courses at newly approved public or private colleges are encouraged to apply for the CHED- Tulong Dunong scholarship.

TERTIARY EDUCATION SUBSIDY
Who can avail of TES?
The priority beneficiaries for the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) are:
- Continuing ESGP-PA scholars in the SUCs effective AY 2018-2019;
- Students who are part of households included in the Listahanan 2.0, ranked according to the estimated per capita household income; and
- Students not part of the Listahanan 2.0, ranked according to estimate per capita household income based on submitted documentation of proof of income to be determined by the UniFAST Board;
Provided, further, that such prioritization shall not apply to Filipino students in cities and municipalities with no existing SUC or LUC campus.

ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP
This is for students who completed their secondary education with distinction, in particular the top five (5) of the batch’s at least one hundred graduates.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- A graduate from secondary schools that is duly recognized by the Department of Education.
- Submission of the following to the Guidance Center:
- application letter
- certificate of good moral character
- barangay clearance;
- high school report card;
- accomplished SMC scholarship form
- Pass the SMC entrance exam administered by the Guidance Center.
- Pass the interview by the Scholarship in-charge and the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
- The choice of course is up to the student, provided he or she passes the college admission requirements as stipulated in the individual college handbook.
- Renewal of scholarship is done every semester if grades are maintained; school and scholarship rules and regulations are met.
GUIDELINES DURING SCHOLARSHIP
- Enroll a minimum of twenty-one (21) units and a maximum of twenty-four units (24).
- Be an active member of the Jose Rizal’s Honors Society
- At the end of the semester, must acquire the following:
- Certificate of Good Moral Character from SAO
- Endorsement from the Adviser of the Jose Rizal’s Honors Society.
- Maintain the following GPA and grades:
- 00-1.20 with no grade lower than 1.20 – full tuition fees
- with no grade lower than 1.40 – 50% tuition fees
- Pass the retention policy guidelines of the college enrolled.
TUITION DISCOUNT
- During their First Semester of their First Year, the scholar will enjoy the following discounts in tuition fee:
From schools with 100 graduates and above:
- TOP 1 100% free tuition fee
- TOP 2` 50% tuition fee discount
- TOP 3 30% tuition fee discount
- TOP 4 20% tuition fee discount
- TOP 5 15% tuition fee discount
From schools with below one hundred to sixty graduates:
- TOP 1 60% free tuition fee
- TOP 2` 40% tuition fee discount
- TOP 3 25% tuition fee discount
- TOP 4 15% tuition fee discount
- TOP 5 10% tuition fee discount
Termination of Scholarship
- Failure to meet the grade requirement of academic scholar.
- Committing any prohibited acts stipulated in the student manual – GABAY.
MOTHER IGNACIA SCHOLAR – STUDENT SUPPORT ASSISTANT
A full scholarship grant under the RVM Scholarship is given to students with academically above average performance in high school and considered financially poor but willing to finish a four year degree course.
The MIS scholarship is divided into two (2) categories: (a) full scholar(b) Student Support staff.
As a full scholar, the student is not required to live in the RVM communities and is not required to work or serve part-time at the school.Therefore, the scholarship is purely academic in nature.
A Student Support Staff (SSS) scholarship is granted to students who are financially poor but academically capable of finishing a four year course in college while giving their time to work as support staff in serving the needs of the RVM and academic communities.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- The applicant must be economically
- Poor yet academically competent and morally upright.
- Need for financial support, as evidenced by income tax returns or affidavits of income.
- Commitment to translate the Ignacian-Marian modalities to service in school and in the community.
- Must be Roman Catholic.
- Good health.
- Above average rating in High School Card upon application (85% and above)
- Passed the Guidance Admission Test (3 – 4 BA)
- Once passed, must submit the following requirements:
- Letter addressed to the President through the scholarship in-charge.
- A detailed personal statement (by the parents/guardians) about the need for a scholarship grant.
- A copy of the recent INCOME TAX RETURN (of the applicant’s parents or guardians)
- Original/authentic copy of the HS report card, NCAE, and certificate of good moral.
- Barangay/Police Clearance.
- Pass academic requirements as prescribed by the College he or she wishes to enroll
- Four (4) pieces 2×2 recent I.D pictures
- Report card
- Birth Certificate
- Can enroll to any 4-year course except BSHM and BSN
