The College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA) of St. Michael’s College of Iligan, Inc. is a Catholic, mission-driven academic unit committed to developing globally competent, socially responsible, and innovation-oriented business leaders. Guided by the Michaelite charism and animated by the love of Mother Mary and Jesus Christ, the College nurtures students in an environment that values faith formation, excellence, inclusivity, and ethical leadership.

CBAA offers programs in Marketing Management, Human Resource Development Management, Financial Management, and Accountancy, each grounded in rigorous academic instruction, experiential learning, and values-based formation. The curriculum integrates the principles of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), ethical decision-making, and respect for intellectual property, enabling students to create solutions that uplift communities while upholding professional and moral standards.

The College promotes inclusive education, ensuring that diverse learners are supported in their personal and professional growth. With strong industry linkages, community engagement initiatives, and institutional support, CBAA cultivates graduates who embody competence, moral responsibility, and a genuine commitment to nation-building and service.

 

PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES

Upon completion of the program, graduates of the College of Business Administration and Accountancy shall be able to:

      • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of business theories, principles, and practices relevant to their specialization (Marketing, HRDM, FM, or Accountancy).
      • Analyze business environments using research, data analytics, and problem-solving frameworks to support informed and responsible decision-making.
      • Apply innovative and sustainable business strategies aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in addressing organizational and community needs.
      • Design and implement CSR-based projects that reflect ethical leadership and advocate for social transformation.
      • Utilize modern technologies, digital tools, and analytical methods in business operations, ensuring compliance with professional standards and respect for intellectual property rights.
      • Uphold moral responsibility and demonstrate ethical judgment in business decisions consistent with Catholic social teachings and the Michaelite identity.
      • Exhibit teamwork, inclusivity, and effective interpersonal communication, fostering collaborative professional relationships in diverse organizational settings.
      • Engage in lifelong learning and personal formation, animated by faith, humility, service, and commitment to the common good.
      • Demonstrate responsible citizenship and community involvement through active participation in institutional outreach, SDG-driven engagements, and value-oriented programs.

 

CAREER OBJECTIVES

Graduates of the College of Business Administration and Accountancy are prepared to pursue careers that advance organizational success while promoting moral and social responsibility. Specifically, they are enabled to:

      • Pursue professional careers in marketing, human resource management, finance, audit, entrepreneurship, and other business-related fields with competence and integrity.
      • Lead and manage teams with respect for individual differences, promoting inclusivity and a culture of collaboration in the workplace.
      • Engage in entrepreneurial ventures founded on responsible innovation, sustainable practices, CSR principles, and respect for intellectual property.
      • Serve as ethical business professionals, upholding Catholic values, social justice, and moral responsibility in all business dealings.
      • Contribute to community and national development by creating business initiatives aligned with the SDGs and by supporting policies that advance ethical governance and economic growth.
