VISION
Living the Ignacian Marian identity and witnessing to the compassionate love of Jesus Christ, we, the community of the Basic Education Department of St. Michael’s College, develop and nurture individuals into becoming morally and communally responsible citizens for the transformation of society.
MISSION
We commit ourselves to:
- Create relevant and sustainable programs to enhance the quality of life and to promote environmental stewardship for the common good;
- Promote a culture of appreciation, support and harmony for our school to be leaven of social transformation;
- Cultivate a life of prayer and develop closer relationship with God;
- Form Ignacian Marian leaders who witness to faith, excellence and service in varied socio-cultural settings;and
- Enrich human and material resources to support education apostolate especially the poor;

Produce responsible citizens equipped with the essential competencies and skills who are dedicated to establish a caring and compassionate community.
OBJECTIVES
In seeking to accomplish its mission, St. Michael’s College, Basic Education Department aims to:

- Manifest the learners with decent character to develop their spiritual devotion, love and equity in becoming a committed individual.
- Generate appropriate and transformative curricular and co- curricular programs to equip the learners for whatever course they may venture in their adult life.
- Develop well integrated mature individuals deeply embodied with the Ignacian Marian values for a wholesome Christian life.
- Provide the learners with experience towards committed and responsible citizenship with genuine pride for the preservation of cultural heritage conscious to the worlds’ situation and welfare in general and of the Philippines in particular.
- Provide applicable and significant activities in the school and the community where the learners are of mutual abode with God in their deeds to others especially the weak and the poor.
IN-CAMPUS
The ID is part of the uniform and should be worn at all times. Students without an ID will not be allowed to enter the classroom. Tampering of ID is considered a serious offense. In case the ID is lost, parents should notify the Discipline Coordinator/Principal immediately and secure an affidavit of loss to warrant the issuance of another ID. Payments shall be made in the Cashier’s Office prior to such issuance.
WHEN COMING TO SCHOOL
- Wear the prescribed uniform with ID.
- Bring all needed things required for the day’s activities including the GABAY.
- Be in school at 7:00 o’clock to join the morning prayers and flag ceremony.
- Observe politeness and courtesy to everyone.
- No loitering outside the gate.
- No cell phones allowed unless permitted by the teacher.
DURING FLAG CEREMONY
The flag ceremony starts at 7:15 in the morning.
- Join the line formation punctually and quietly. At 7:00 am line formation and get ready for the morning ceremony.
- Pray reflectively.
- Sing fervently the Philippine National Anthem and the School Hymn, recite the Panunumpa sa Watawat and the Schools Vision and Mission.
- After the morning prayer learner is already considered late.
