On July 12, 2018, the MICSR launched its School is Cool program for public schools in Iligan City, highlighting its commitment to early childhood education and community engagement. Held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Barangay Palao Day Care Center, the activity provided young learners with supportive learning materials and fun, educational interactions designed to inspire enthusiasm for school.Present during the program were Korsiney N. Cabasis, MICSR Director; Leonilie Adalid, MICSR Coordinator for the Basic Education Department; and Mrs. Johanna Gornez from the Campus Ministry. Their visit emphasized St. Michaelโs Collegeโs dedication to nurturing young minds and strengthening partnerships with local day care centers. Through School is Cool, the MICSR team continued to promote the value of early education and encouraged children to see learning as an exciting and meaningful part of their growth.
