Visitation and Kamustahan Christmas Party

Guided by the Ignatianโ€“Marian values of Faith, Excellence, and Service, the College of Education conducted a Visitation and Kamustahan Christmas Party on December 18, 2025, at GK Lafarge Dalipuga. The activity served as a meaningful expression of compassion, solidarity, and joyful service as the college community reached out to families in the community during the Christmas season.

The initiative was made possible through the active participation of faculty members and students, together with the guidance of Ms. Terencia Arnejo and Ms. Paula Kristie Pepito, whose presence reflected the spirit of accompaniment and care central to Ignatian formation. Through simple gestures of sharing, listening, and celebration, the activity fostered genuine human connection and strengthened community bonds beyond the classroom.

Anchored in Faith, the visitation reminded participants that serving others is a concrete way of honoring Godโ€™s presence in every person. Excellence was reflected in the thoughtful planning and purposeful engagement of the activity, ensuring that it was not merely celebratory but deeply meaningful. Service came alive through the selfless commitment of educators and future teachers who chose to extend joy, hope, and compassion to others.

This outreach aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 1 (No Poverty) by supporting underserved communities, SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) by promoting emotional and social wellness through fellowship, and SDG 4 (Quality Education) by nurturing socially responsible and values-oriented educators through experiential learning.

Through this Visitation and Kamustahan Christmas Party, the College of Education continues to uphold its mission of forming teachers who are not only academically competent but also deeply humaneโ€”educators who live out faith in action, strive for excellence with purpose, and serve with compassion in building inclusive and resilient communities.
