With a shared commitment to advance child rights and safety, SMCII Basic Education Department 3 student leaders Fritz Arkley N. Alidon, CSG President, Caye Shia Burda, AMIGO President, and Alexa Lee Lacsi, AMIGO Vice President, together with Ms. Karen Dangel of the Senior High School Faculty, proudly represented the institution in OSAEC-CSAEM WAKASAN: Kaligtasan at Karapatan ng Bata, Ipaglaban! held on November 7, 2025, at Riverview Function Hall, Ubaldo Laya, Iligan City. 

Anchored on the project “My Voice, My Power: Empowering Student Leaders Against OSAEC and All Forms of Abuse Through Education and Active Engagement,” the workshop gathered young leaders across the city in celebration of the 33rd National Children’s Month. 

The event featured meaningful discussions, advocacy-centered activities, and self-esteem building sessions that encouraged the youth to become proactive defenders of children’s rights.
