On July 12, 2018, the MICSR brought its School is Cool program to Del Carmen Integrated School in Iligan City, continuing its mission to support public school learners through meaningful educational outreach. Held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, the activity focused on distributing school materials and fostering excitement for learning among the students.
Present during the visit were S. Ma. Rose Ann, CFC Director; Korsiney N. Cabasis, MICSR Director; and Leonilie Adalid, MICSR Coordinator for the Basic Education Department. The team worked together to carefully segregate school supplies according to grade level, ensuring that the materials matched the specific needs of each group of learners.
Del Carmen Integrated School pupils joyfully participated in the program, receiving their school kits with enthusiasm. The activity highlighted the MICSRโs commitment to creating supportive learning environments and strengthening partnerships with public schools. Through School is Cool, St. Michaelโs College continues to motivate young learners and promote the value of education as a foundation for their future success.
