On October 12, 2020, the School Administrators and MICSR team of St. Michael’s College visited the Home for the Aged as part of the institution’s continuing commitment to community care and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Demonstrating compassion and social responsibility, the team ensured that the elderly residents had sufficient food supplies, reaffirming the school’s pledge to provide a monthly sack of rice to support their daily needs.
The visit strengthened the bond between St. Michael’s College and the Home for the Aged, reflecting the institution’s dedication to SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being). Through this initiative, SMC continues to uphold its mission of extending support to vulnerable sectors, fostering dignity, and promoting a culture of empathy and solidarity within the wider community.
