In collaboration with the 30th Police Community Relations, the Iligan City Police Station 2 Outreach Program was successfully conducted on July 21, 2025, at Bernardo E. Memorial School (BEMS), Tomas Cabili, Iligan City, during the First Semester of Academic Year 2025โ2026. Hosted by the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) in partnership with MICSR, the activity engaged CHTM student representatives, faculty members, and the MICSR Coordinator in a meaningful community outreach.
Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)โSDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals)โthe initiative aimed to strengthen community ties through basic support services, awareness-building, and learner-centered engagement activities. The program featured information drives on drug addiction awareness, child abuse prevention, and proper nutrition, complemented by a feeding activity for the learners.
Through volunteerism and advocacy, the participants contributed to the well-being of the community while reinforcing the values of social responsibility, safety, and genuine care for the youth.
