On October 7, 2017, St. Michael’s College, in partnership with the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) of Iligan City, continued its Computer Literacy Program through the College of Engineering and Computer Studies. The session marked the second module of the training, focusing on Microsoft Excel. Women teacher-volunteers from various schools in Iligan City actively participated, demonstrating their commitment to enhancing their digital competency and adapting to the evolving demands of technology in education.
Their participation highlighted the vital role of women educators as leaders in both their workplaces and communities—embracing new skills, strengthening their teaching practices, and serving as role models for lifelong learning. The program not only provided technical training but also empowered these women by equipping them with tools that support effective and data-driven instruction. Through this initiative, St. Michael’s College reinforces its mission of extending transformative education beyond the campus and helping uplift the wider teaching community.
