St. Michael’s College of Iligan, Inc. (SMCII) actively strengthens its commitment to youth empowerment and community development by participating in the Higher Education Summit and implementing USAID Opportunity 2.0 in collaboration with Iligan City’s Youth Development Alliance and other key stakeholders. Through this engagement, SMCII demonstrates its strong sense of social responsibility and its sustained effort to contribute to the holistic growth of the youth and the broader development of Iligan City. As a recognized member of the Youth Alliance under the Local Government Unit of Iligan City, the College continues to play an active role in advancing youth values formation, employability, and access to inclusive and quality education. This initiative is closely aligned with SDG 4 (Quality Education) through its focus on relevant, accessible, and skills-oriented learning; SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by supporting youth employability and workforce readiness; and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by fostering strong multi-sectoral collaboration to create sustainable and community-driven development outcomes.
