SMCII and PNP Outreach Program

In collaboration with the 30th Police Community Relations, the Iligan City Police Station 2 Outreach Program was successfully conducted on July 21, 2025, at Bernardo E. Memorial School (BEMS), Tomas Cabili, Iligan City, during the First Semester of Academic Year 2025โ€“2026. Hosted by the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) in partnership with MICSR, the activity engaged CHTM student representatives, faculty members, and the MICSR Coordinator in a meaningful community outreach.

Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)โ€”SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals)โ€”the initiative aimed to strengthen community ties through basic support services, awareness-building, and learner-centered engagement activities. The program featured information drives on drug addiction awareness, child abuse prevention, and proper nutrition, complemented by a feeding activity for the learners.

Through volunteerism and advocacy, the participants contributed to the well-being of the community while reinforcing the values of social responsibility, safety, and genuine care for the youth.
