Every year, November 25 is more than a dateโit is a global call to end all forms of violence against women. It is a day when communities across the world unite to honor survivors, amplify awareness, and strengthen the commitment to uphold every womanโs right to safety, dignity, and justice. At St. Michaelโs College of Iligan, Inc.โBasic Education Department (SMCII-BED), this call echoes through every hallway, reminding us to respond with compassion, empathy, and solidarity.
The campus reflects, but it also acts. Students walk with a deeper sense of purpose, aware that many women face silent battles every day. Today becomes more than awarenessโit becomes a responsibility: to listen without judgment, to learn with humility, and to advocate for meaningful change wherever it is needed.
Hereโs to the Michaelites who choose courage over silence. To conversations that challenge harmful norms, to friendships that build safe spaces, and to the belief that even small acts of kindness can spark powerful transformation.
Violence has no place in our world. As this global campaign continues, SMCII-BED refuses to be a silent observer. We choose to stand firm, speak up, and push back against the injustices women face daily. Real change begins with action, not just awareness. Today, we embrace that responsibilityโaffirming with conviction that every woman deserves safety, dignity, and a future where her voice is never silenced.
